Reserves of the central bank reached the highest level in the last 8 years

Total reserves of the Central Bank increased by 2 billion 488 million US dollars in the week of February 3 compared to the previous week and reached 129 billion 627 million US dollars, the highest level since January 2015.

The weekly money and banking statistics released by the center are the highest since 2015. Accordingly, as of February 3, the total foreign currency reserves of the Central Bank increased by 1 billion 725 million dollars and reached 77 billion 931 million dollars. The total foreign exchange reserves reached 76 billion 206 million US dollars as of January 27.

Gold reserves increased by $763 million from $50 billion 933 million to $51 billion 696 million. Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank increased from 127 billion 139 million dollars to 129 billion 627 million dollars in the week of February 3, which is an increase of 2 billion 488 million dollars compared to the previous week. Thus, the amount of reserves reached the highest level since January 2015. And net reserves rose to $27.1 billion from $25.8 billion last week.
